| Baptism:
Normally occurs on a Saturday afternoon, though it |
| may be held on other days.

| Confirmation:
Occurs once a year. The age of candidates |
|
should be 14
by the time they are confirmed.

|
| First Communion:
Preparations take place at St. Catherine's |
| school and St. James's
school, or through the
parish if the |
| child does not attend
a Catholic school. Contact the parish. |

|
|

| Marriage:
St. James is an ideal and beautiful setting for a |
|
marriage. The church
seats 120 people and bookings need to |
| be made 6 months
in advance. Please note that when a couple |
| has gone through
a Civil Ceremony, the church can validate |
| their marriage. |
|
|
| RCIA: Adults
can be received into the church through a |
| programme called
Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults. Adults |
| can enter the church
at Easter time. |
| |
| Sacrament of Penance:
Confession is on Saturday between |
| 9.45 am to 10.45 am. |
