Future developments
The people of Bender
pray for us every day. We always remember them at Mass on Saturday and Sunday,
and we are seeking ways of helping them practically with the development of their
parish. The best practical help is cash. As we have already seen –
aid attracts aid, and there will be many more ways on which we can help the Catholic
communities in Moldova in the near future. What we need to do now is to
make sure that there is sufficient money available to run the services which can
be offered after our building programme.
Peter will be able
to deliver our cash to them from now on as he will be working for his own Bishop
(Bishop Anton) on a project to try to reduce human trafficking. The Bishop
has asked him to act as consultant on the project which is funded by Catholic
Relief Services of the USA. This means that he will be going to Moldova
for 2 weeks out 6 for the next three years.
There are all kinds
of ways in which you can help.

There will be more opportunities to visit – this is not a holiday; it is demonstrating
our love in very tangible form – and such visits are really appreciated. *
There is always the need for new ideas and activities for fund-raising.
